As we start our run to the 100th release, we kick off with a single from one of Belfast's finest Kab Driver, aka David Baxter to his nearest & dearest.
David previously released a series of 12"s & albums under the name Filaria, performing live across Europe, as well as experimenting with collaborator Brian Greene as Kinnego Flux.
In 2011, he started making music and performing as Kab Driver, releasing a self-titled album on Lyon's Airflex Labs in 2012, as well as a number of follow on EPs. David has performed in Geneva, New York, Luxembourg, Brussels, San Diego, Amsterdam, across the UK & Europe supporting a range of amazing artists, including Jamie Lidell, Plaid, Venetian Snares, Luke Vibert, Mike Paradinas and more. He's also been a frequent collaborator with Boxcutter, releasing on his Kinnego label and contributing to works on the Planet-Mu albums. David produced the score for the Inertial Drift game with Kaidi Tatham, which led to David giving a series of talks for indie games at Dolby stages in GDC San Francisco, Gamescom Cologne, and SARC Belfast.
We are delighted to have David join the team at EP with two original gems that flirt with R&B, electro and downtempo genuis.
The label's own T-Bone and our next generation artist to keep an eye on Preference, provide dubbed out remixes of both originals.
